Hafeezcenter is a plaza located in the city of Lahore on the main boulevard road, near to PACE shopping mall building, Gulberg. Lahore is provincial capital of Punjab Pakistan. Hafeez center plaza is actually a huge market of Computer accessories and Mobile Phones. Once, Hafeezcenter plaza was full of computer shops but since 2004, the market trend changed. Most of the computer stores in hafeezcentre plaza converted to mobile phone stores. Due to large demand of mobile phones in Lahore, the shop keepers molded themselves to the new trend. Full name of Hafeez center plaza is actually Al-HafeezCentre plaza but people usually prefer the short name. The basement and first floor is full of retails shops for mobiles and computers. However the above floors have wholesale shops as well. Retail shop keepers from Lahore and some other cities of Punjab go to Hafeez centre plaza to purchase mobile phones and computers at wholesale rates and then they sell them at retail rates in their local areas. Hafeez center plaza is one of the biggest computer and mobile markets in Punjab.

I visited Hafeez center a month ago. Things there are much changed from past. mobile phone retailers took over most of plaza during the cell phone revolution time.They occupied best location of the plaza. But this great market is still a good place for buying new/used/refurbished computers.I bought a descent dell 1545 laptop from their. Still my favourite market for computers.

Anyone care to give a list of other good Computer related markets or shops in Lahore. If that is not Hafeez Center then where else to go?

Hafeez center is now almost converted to a cell phone market. No big computers stores are there anymore. Too bad, cell phone revolution have changed every thing there. I really miss the old hafeez center
